## The short answer

Grand Ivy’s GB service is managed by White Hat Gaming Limited, UKGC account 52894. On 2 November 2026, its remote casino activity was Active and www.grandivy.com was listed as White Label. The GB terms match that company. This confirms the licensing link, not a guarantee of safety or payment.

## Which Grand Ivy domain and company have been checked?

| Record checked on 2 November 2026 | Finding | How to read it |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Contracting business | White Hat Gaming Limited; the GB terms name Maltese company C73232. | The company is different from the Grand Ivy brand name. |
| UKGC account and activity | Account 52894; Remote Casino: Active. | This is the relevant current operating permission. |
| Domain row | www.grandivy.com: White Label. | The website is listed under that company. White Label is not an inactive casino activity. |
| Applicable contract | GB terms version 7.4, updated 24 September 2026. | The introduction and clause 1.1 specify Great Britain; clause 9 uses GBP. |

Match the spelling, operator and actual website address before trusting a badge or sending documents. A similar name, another market’s licence or an old review is not enough. Our [licence-checking guide](https://howtocasino.uk/guides/how-to-check-casino-licence/index.md) shows how to repeat the official-register check.

## What does medium protection mean for your balance?

Clause 7.1 states that customer money is held separately from business accounts and declares medium protection under the Commission’s rating system. The Commission explains that this involves insolvency-protection arrangements, while return of the money is not absolutely guaranteed.

The category concerns money held when the business fails. It does not reimburse gambling losses, insure the account like a bank deposit or guarantee a particular withdrawal. The contract’s additional “read more” link points to a different protection-category page; the express clause and its medium-protection link state medium.

Keep the declared protection category separate from the Active licence result. They answer different questions about operating permission and the treatment of money held.

## Can you withdraw a balance below the £20 minimum?

Yes, the checked GB terms provide an exception. Clause 7.3 gives a £20 normal minimum but says a balance below it can still be withdrawn in full by contacting Customer Support. The public Visa page’s £20 headline does not describe that exception.

For example, suppose your entire balance is £12. The stated route is to request the full £12 through support under clause 7.3. You do not need to treat the £8 difference as a required top-up. The example illustrates the minimum exception; it does not remove verification, confirmed-payment, legal-check or applicable bonus conditions.

| Different amounts or rules | What the GB terms say | What not to infer |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Minimum withdrawal | Normally £20; below-minimum full balance can be requested through support. | An exception to the minimum is not an unlimited maximum. |
| Return route and checks | Return to the deposit method, with satisfactory checks and confirmed payments. | A submitted request is not proof that payment has been authorised or received. |
| Ordinary single-event winnings | Clause 8.1 limits the operator’s obligation to £250,000 on one bet or spin, excluding potential progressive-jackpot winnings. | That is not a £250,000 weekly withdrawal allowance. |
| Large progressive jackpot | Clause 10 says jackpots above £250,000 may take up to 30 days to pay. | This special jackpot clause is not a deadline for every cash withdrawal. |

The official help article updated 26 July 2024 separates UKGC review from the later payment transfer and says a request may remain under review for a minimum of 24 hours. It does not give a general maximum arrival time. We have not established one guaranteed timetable or all-method daily or weekly cap for a particular account.

Use the terms for your own GB account and request the applicable method limits. International euro-denominated caps or instalment clauses should not be copied into this GBP contract. The [withdrawal guide](https://howtocasino.uk/guides/why-do-casino-withdrawals-take-time/index.md) explains the difference between review, authorisation and arrival.

## When can the £5 inactivity charge start?

1. Clause 16 defines inactivity as 12 consecutive months without depositing or betting.
2. For a positive balance, it says the operator will attempt to notify you and return the money to the last deposit method.
3. If the account remains inactive for at least 30 days after the first notification attempt, the terms provide for a £5 monthly deduction.
4. If less than £5 remains, the stated deduction is the whole remainder.

Logging in alone is not the activity definition in that clause. If you want the money returned, ask for repayment and the fee history rather than placing bets simply to keep the account active.

| Invented balance after a valid charging start | Deduction under this stated rule | Balance afterwards |
| --- | --- | --- |
| £9 before the first monthly deduction | £5 | £4 |
| £4 before the next monthly deduction | £4, rather than another £5 | £0 |

These are illustrative deductions after the required start conditions, not a finding about charges on your account. Our [inactivity-fee guide](https://howtocasino.uk/guides/can-online-casinos-charge-inactivity-fees/index.md) explains the GB requirements on fees, notification and attempts to return balances, and how to question a deduction.

## Has the operator had regulatory failures?

Yes. The Commission’s 28 December 2020 report records anti-money-laundering and social-responsibility failures at White Hat Gaming, a £1.3 million regulatory settlement and an improvement programme. It specifically names grandivy.com among the affected websites.

The current company actions tab showed no recorded actions when checked. That tab does not erase the separate 2020 report. The historical findings are material context, but they do not establish what happened to a particular present-day withdrawal or change the separately checked current licence status.

## How do you make a GB complaint or dispute?

1. Use the official contact route: live chat or support@grandivy.com. Keep the date and case correspondence.
2. If unresolved, clause 17 describes escalation through a team leader to the Complaints Team, with a Case ID and final response.
3. For an eligible unresolved gambling dispute, the terms name eCOGRA as the independent ADR provider, free to the customer.

The operator aims for 28 days and says complex cases may take up to eight weeks from first receipt. The Commission’s eight-week process includes internal escalation, with earlier final positions also allowing escalation. Its guidance permits a reasonable pause when a customer fails to engage with a reasonable information request; the clock then resumes where it stopped.

Grand Ivy’s separate confidentiality and pause wording should not be treated as a blanket loss of complaint rights. Ask for the reason and dates of any pause, and for a final position or ADR details. ADR eligibility depends on the dispute; the Commission does not decide an individual payment claim.

Keep the balance, requested amount, payment method, verification requests and relevant case replies together. Our [unpaid-casino guide](https://howtocasino.uk/guides/what-to-do-if-a-casino-will-not-pay/index.md) sets out the practical evidence steps.

## What remains to be checked for your own account?

The company’s published terms allow ongoing identity, payment-ownership and financial checks. The document or explanation needed depends on the actual request. A licence answer cannot confirm that your account has passed those checks or that every game and payment method is available to you.

Our [casino comparison guide](https://howtocasino.uk/guides/how-to-compare-uk-casinos/index.md) helps separate payment conditions, account controls and support from a licence finding.

**Sources and research limits**

Checked 2 November 2026: the current Commission activity/domain/actions records, Grand Ivy’s GB-only terms version 7.4, contact and Visa pages, the linked official help and the Commission’s 2020 report. The full GB terms were read in a browser when another retrieval route returned an access error.

This is public-document research. No account, deposit, withdrawal, game or support test was performed. A dated help article is not a tested payout time; an international policy is not proof of the GB rules. No offer, rating or personal eligibility is confirmed.

### Is White Label the same as an inactive casino licence?

### Must I deposit more to withdraw a Grand Ivy balance under £20?

The checked GB clause 7.3 allows a below-£20 balance to be requested in full through Customer Support. Use that exception rather than assuming you must add money. Normal verification and applicable withdrawal conditions remain.
