This guide concerns the original safari-themed Mega Moolah with five reels and 25 paylines. The operator pages below identify it with Games Global. A different title containing Mega Moolah may use the jackpot name alongside a different base game.

For example, Heart Bingo publishes separate pages for Atlantean Treasures Mega Moolah and Immortal Romance Mega Moolah. Their presence does not make the original game’s Monkey scatters, free spins or reel layout applicable to those titles.

What happens when the jackpot wheel starts?

Are the free spins the jackpot round?

The triggering base-game spin and the spins inside an active bonus are different points in the sequence. That distinction resolves the apparent contradiction between “both features can trigger” and “the jackpot cannot trigger during free spins”.

Casino promotional free spins are a separate question again. Their eligibility, game restrictions and treatment of winnings come from the particular promotion. An original-game feature rule does not establish the conditions of an offer shown by a casino.

Do you need to bet the maximum to qualify?

The primary pages read here do not establish a universal maximum-bet requirement. MrQ’s published description says the chance of entering the wheel increases with the total bet, but gives no numerical relationship. It does not establish a particular return for a larger stake or the probability of each prize tier.

Entry chance, prize selection and money staked must be kept separate. Even if a game ties entry probability to stake, that does not show how much it changes or make a more expensive spin a guaranteed route to the Mega prize. A higher stake also puts more money at risk.
