What changes during free spins?

The three-scatter trigger pays 1× the total bet as well as starting five free spins. During the feature, the three middle reels act together as a giant symbol. A further set of three scatters awards another three spins; Pragmatic Play states no limit on the number of these retriggers.

The retrigger is an addition. If two spins remain after the current spin has been used, a three-spin award leaves 2 + 3 = 5. It does not replace that balance with three.

How the reset to three works

Money Respins begin after the triggering spin’s line wins have been paid. Its Money symbols stay on the board, and every new moon remains until the round ends. A respin with no new moon reduces the counter; one or more new moons sets it back to three.

A successful respin restores three opportunities; it does not add three to the previous counter. Several moons on one respin still produce one reset to three. Filling all 15 spaces ends the feature even if respins remain.

Which values count towards the prize?

A moon can carry a cash amount or a Mini or Major jackpot value. Add every held moon at the end, including those that triggered the feature. For example, if the opening moons total £10 and later moons add £2, the moon total is £12. These are invented cash totals, with no jackpot award or separate line win included.

Filling all 15 spaces adds the Mega Jackpot to the moon total. MrQ describes Mega as 1,000× the total bet; Pragmatic Play also states 1,000×. At an illustrative 50p total bet, that extra award is £500. This calculates Mega alone. It does not establish the maximum payout of the whole round.

The checked pages do not establish numerical Mini and Major prizes. Read their displayed amounts in the exact game rather than assigning figures from another Wolf Gold title.

Can Money Respins start inside free spins?

Yes. Both Pragmatic Play and Virgin Games explicitly make Money Respins available during free spins. The free-spin feature and the moon-collection round are therefore distinct mechanics that can occur within the same bonus. A respin reset remains a reset to three; it is not a three-free-spin retrigger.

Check the original game and the version offered

Virgin Games and MrQ both publish pages for the original Wolf Gold. Their footers identify Gamesys Operations Limited and Tek Fox Ltd respectively. On 6 November 2026, the Gambling Commission listed active remote casino licences for both; its domain records listed virgingames.com as White Label under Gamesys and www.mrq.com as Active under Tek Fox.

These are public listings, not tests of a game loaded in an account. The supplier’s page publishes 96.01% RTP, while MrQ’s page publishes 93.99%. Neither establishes the setting you will receive elsewhere. Check the exact game’s information for RTP, stake options, prize units and jackpot amounts.

Read the full title as well: Wolf Gold Ultimate has additional respin grids in its own supplier description. Those rules do not describe the original game. This guide also excludes PowerJackpot and 4Pack editions.

Sources and limits of this explanation

Checked on 6 November 2026 using Pragmatic Play’s public descriptions, the two operators’ own game pages and the Gambling Commission register. We also read all three pages of an undated original-title rule sheet hosted by the non-GB operator YesPlay. Its bonus mechanics agree with the supplier and GB operator descriptions.

The foreign-hosted rule sheet helps explain paytable units; its RTP, autoplay, quick-spin and other interface settings are not applied to current GB games here. No account, demo, game or payment was tested. No odds or expected return for either bonus mode were established.

Are Wolf Gold’s free spins a casino welcome offer?

This guide describes the free-spin feature triggered within Wolf Gold. Promotional spins offered by a casino have their own eligibility and conditions. A promotion beside the game description does not change the game’s three-scatter trigger.

Does the giant centre symbol always act as a wild?

The original rules describe reels 2, 3 and 4 as a giant symbol. They do not say it is always a wild. The wolf is the game’s wild symbol; use the actual symbol and paytable when reading a result.
