Who operates Ladbrokes Casino, and what does the licence confirm?

The Gambling Commission’s public register lists LC International Limited’s Remote Casino permission as Active under account 54743. Its domain list separately shows ladbrokes.com as Active. Ladbrokes’ own UK terms identify LC International Limited, registered in Gibraltar, as the company with which you contract. These records were checked on 4 November 2026.

That connects the exact online address to the permitted activity. It does not certify a particular game result, approve every contractual clause or guarantee that a withdrawal will be paid without checks. A familiar name on a betting shop is not a substitute for matching the website and remote casino permission.

LC International is part of Entain and also operates other brands. The Ladbrokes UK contract says it applies specifically to Ladbrokes. Coral’s offer rules, a betting-shop policy or an overseas Ladbrokes service should not be treated as the terms for this casino account.

Which payment methods and minimum deposits are documented?

The public help below documents routes rather than a tested, logged-in cashier. A method’s availability, your personal limits and an offer’s qualifying deposit are separate questions. The UK deposit overview leaves the minimum to the cashier; it does not establish a universal £5 minimum for every method.

MethodDeposit minimum established by public helpWithdrawal route or condition
Visa debitNo route-specific GBP minimum established.Debit-card withdrawals are documented. Eligible Visa Fast Funds requests have a separate conditional timing window.
PayPalNo GBP minimum established from the method FAQ.The FAQ requires a successful PayPal deposit within the preceding six months. The transfer follows internal processing.
Google Pay£5 in its GBP method table. The FAQ gives a £5 withdrawal minimum and returns withdrawals to the card used through Google Pay.
Apple PayNo GBP minimum established from the method FAQ.The FAQ says withdrawals are supported, but does not clearly establish their destination or delivery time.
Pay by Bank£5 in its method FAQ.Deposits and withdrawals are documented. This is a different service from Fast Bank Transfer.
paysafecard accountNo GBP minimum established from the method FAQ.A personal paysafecard account is required for deposits; the FAQ requires a successful same-method deposit for withdrawals. Vouchers alone are not accepted as a direct deposit route.

There is a public limit conflict worth checking before authorising a payment. The UK-specific deposit overview caps a single deposit at £2,000 across all methods. The Google Pay and Pay by Bank FAQs display a generic £5,000 maximum. Do not assume the higher number applies to your GB account; confirm the actual UK cashier amount and any lower personal limit.

The same UK overview limits customers to three active payment methods over a rolling 30-day period. Adding a fourth method is therefore not simply a way to choose a different withdrawal destination. Ask how the existing deposit routes affect a planned change.

Use a payment method in your own name. The UK terms prohibit credit cards and company cards, including credit-card funds passed through an e-wallet. Generic wallet instructions mentioning credit cards do not override that restriction.

How long do Ladbrokes Casino withdrawals take?

Start with the payment route and the point at which its clock begins. The general help describes internal review taking approximately up to 24 hours, Monday to Friday, while saying debit-card withdrawals are processed Monday to Sunday. Additional verification or an investigation affecting the funds can delay a request under the UK terms.

Route or stageWhat the public help statesHow to interpret it
General internal reviewApproximately up to 24 hours, Monday to Friday; debit-card withdrawals processed Monday to Sunday. This is operator review, not a promise that every receiving bank will credit the money within that period.
Eligible Visa Fast FundsTypically up to four hours from making the request to reaching the bank account. The described window includes checks and approval. Do not add another four hours after the general review allowance. Eligibility is indicated in the cashier.
Fast Bank Transfer£5 withdrawal minimum; two to four business days once approved. The bank-transfer period follows approval. Its withdrawal minimum is not evidence of a £5 deposit minimum.
PayPal, Apple Pay and Pay by BankSupport is documented, with route-specific conditions. No universal end-to-end withdrawal time was established from the FAQs reviewed. Check the actual request information.

Visa Fast Funds is conditional. Its FAQ says additional checks can extend the four-hour window; payouts above £2,000 are liable to further manual checks and are likely to miss that window. Currency differences and a limit of five Fast Funds withdrawals over a rolling 24 hours are also listed. The presence of a compatible debit card alone is not a guaranteed arrival time.

The Fast Bank Transfer FAQ is internally inconsistent: it explicitly says deposits are unavailable, then later refers to withdrawing on the same day as a deposit. We use its clear withdrawal description only. Pay by Bank remains the separately documented deposit-and-withdrawal route.

Keep the request reference, amount, time, selected route and current status. If the money has not arrived, establish whether it is still under review, has been sent, or needs tracing by the receiving provider. Our withdrawal guide explains that sequence.

Can you choose any withdrawal method, and are there fees?

Ladbrokes operates a closed-loop system: where possible, money is returned through the methods used for deposits. Its UK terms allow a withdrawal to be split across deposit methods, and payments must go to the registered account holder. A supported PayPal withdrawal option does not remove those routing conditions.

For example, the official help describes £100 deposited by Visa and £50 by e-wallet, followed by a £200 withdrawal request from a £500 balance. Its example first sends £100 back to Visa before an e-wallet withdrawal. The lesson is about the destination of the money, not a requirement to wager more or an assurance that every account is routed identically.

The withdrawal-fee FAQ says Ladbrokes does not charge withdrawal fees. The UK contract is more specific: it states no charge for debit-card or bank-account withdrawals, but international bank transfers can attract bank charges met by the customer. It also reserves recovery of incurred bank charges where repeated deposits and withdrawals have no commensurate betting activity. A payment provider may have its own costs. These qualifications prevent “no fees” from becoming a promise of no possible third-party or exceptional charge.

You can withdraw the available real-money balance subject to the conditions in clause 9.7, including cleared deposits, required checks and relevant investigations. A promotional balance has its own rules; a minimum qualifying deposit for an offer is not the same as a payment minimum or the amount you are entitled to withdraw.

How are customer funds protected, and what checks apply?

In clauses 9.16–9.17, Ladbrokes describes customer money as held separately in a formal trust, controlled by an independent trustee and checked by an external auditor. The contract calls this High Protection under the Gambling Commission’s insolvency framework. That is the operator’s disclosure of its arrangement; this review has not audited the trust.

The protection concerns what happens to customer funds if the operator becomes insolvent. It is not insurance against losses, protection from the house edge or a guarantee that a disputed game award is payable. Those are different questions.

The UK terms require name, address and date of birth to be verified before depositing or gambling. They also provide for further checks on identity, payment ownership, financial circumstances and source of funds. An account that passed an initial identity check can still face a later legally required enquiry.

There is an important regulatory safeguard. Licence condition 17.1.1 says a withdrawal request must not trigger a demand for information that the operator could reasonably have requested earlier, while allowing information required at that time by another legal obligation. Ask which check is outstanding and why; neither the terms nor this review settles whether a particular delay is justified.

What account conditions should you check before leaving money there?

Only one account per Ladbrokes brand is allowed under the UK terms. A second account can lead to closure, unsettled bets being voided and promotional benefits being removed under the duplicate-account clauses. Do not open a replacement account to resolve a login problem, restriction or exclusion.

Clause 11 lists maximum payouts of £250,000 for Slots, except where a higher progressive jackpot is specified, and £250,000 for Bingo, Casino, Games, Live Casino and Virtuals. These are contractual payout entries, not a promise that a game can pay that amount or that every withdrawal request can be that size. Check the individual game rules and the applicable basis of any limit before interpreting a displayed maximum.

The inactive-account rule is based on 13 consecutive months without a cash wager or bet. The terms describe advance email notice and an attempt to return the balance. If return is unsuccessful, a £3 monthly administration fee can start after at least 30 days’ notice to the registered email address. It is not an automatic charge immediately after a year, and a login alone is not the activity test stated in that clause.

As a simple fee example, a £12 balance subject to two £3 monthly charges would become £6: £12 − £3 − £3. This assumes the stated charging conditions have been met and no other transactions occur. You do not need to place bets to ask for your balance back or request closure. The terms also say you may contact customer services to request reimbursement of inactive-account fees.

The terms recognise GAMSTOP and the operator’s own self-exclusion process. They also describe circumstances in which restrictions or information can affect other Entain brands. Another group account should not be treated as a way around an exclusion or an unresolved restriction.

What does the regulatory history add to the review?

The Gambling Commission announced a £17 million Entain regulatory settlement on 17 August 2022 for social-responsibility and anti-money-laundering failures. Of that total, £14 million concerned the online licensee LC International Limited, whose sites included ladbrokes.com. The separate £3 million concerned the land-based Ladbrokes Betting & Gaming Limited business.

Calling the whole £17 million a fine solely against Ladbrokes Casino would misstate the scope. Describing the online operator as having no regulatory history would also be misleading. The announcement reported shortcomings in customer interaction, cross-brand restrictions and source-of-funds controls, alongside additional licence conditions and a third-party audit requirement.

The current account 54743 actions tab displayed no recorded regulatory actions when checked. That page does not erase the separate historical settlement notice. We retain both observations, and the register’s current Active casino permission, rather than using any one of them as a complete trust score.

What should you do if a payment or game result is disputed?

Use Ladbrokes’ internal procedure first and identify the actual issue: a missing transfer, an account check, a bonus restriction or a disputed game settlement. Record dates, amounts, transaction or game references, the applicable terms and the response you want. Keep copies of the evidence and replies.

  1. Start with customer services. If unresolved, request the team or line manager review described in the UK terms.
  2. If that does not resolve the matter, the terms give complaints@ladbrokes.com for escalation to the Ladbrokes Complaints Team. Ask for a case reference and the date the complaint was recorded.
  3. The contract describes acknowledgement within 24 hours and a final response within eight weeks, with a stated pause where requested information is outstanding. The Gambling Commission’s public guidance says the business has eight weeks from receiving your complaint. Keep the original submission and ask for any proposed pause to be explained.
  4. For an eligible unresolved UK gambling-transaction dispute, the UK terms name IBAS after the internal process or deadlock. They state a referral within 12 months of the dispute arising. Check IBAS eligibility rather than assuming every service complaint qualifies.

The licence does not decide an individual claim. If a screen shows an unexpected win or a withdrawal is withheld, ask for the exact rule, transaction record and reason being relied upon. Our unpaid-casino guide sets out the wider evidence and escalation steps.

What is the practical verdict before depositing?

Point in its favourCondition that still needs your attention
Exact ladbrokes.com domain and Remote Casino permission were Active at the dated register check.A licence is not a guarantee about a particular payout, game result or customer experience.
The UK contract describes High Protection for customer funds. This is an insolvency arrangement, not protection from gambling losses or an independently audited conclusion by us.
Several payment routes and an eligible faster Visa facility are documented.Route eligibility, verification, closed-loop routing and conflicting public maxima need checking on the actual account.

Before sending money, match the exact site to the register, check the deposit method and intended withdrawal route, and read the terms of any offer you actually intend to use. Inspect the help for the particular game and version as well. This review does not establish a current universal game count, installed RTP, personal bonus eligibility or a tested payout speed.

This review is based on public records and Ladbrokes’ own UK documents read on 4 November 2026. The general terms displayed an update date of 21 January 2025. We have not opened an account, deposited, played, contacted support or tested a withdrawal.
