Which Jammin’ Jars does this guide explain?

This guide explains Push Gaming’s original Jammin’ Jars. It uses an 8 × 8 grid, connected matching-symbol clusters, cascading replacements and moving jar Wilds. A familiar fruit design does not establish that two titles use the same feature rules.

TitleFeature identity to check
Original Jammin’ JarsMoving jar Wilds, a Free Games trigger and a random giant-fruit Rainbow feature.
Jammin’ Jars 2The sequel’s supplier page describes Gold Vinyl, Instant Prizes, Fruit Blast and Giga Jar features.
Giga JarA separately named product; its Snowball and Ice Breaker systems do not belong to the original explanation here.

Check the complete title in the game information. A rule from the sequel should not be used to fill a gap in the original’s paytable or feature description.

How does an ordinary winning cluster form?

The original pays for at least five matching symbols connected horizontally or vertically. A diagonal touch alone does not join the group. A jar can act as a Wild within a qualifying cluster; it is not a multiplier for every symbol elsewhere on the board.

  1. The game evaluates the symbols and any eligible cluster awards.
  2. Winning fruit symbols are removed. Contributing jars can remain, increase their multipliers and move under their own rule.
  3. Other symbols collapse into the gaps and replacements can create another evaluation.
  4. The paid cycle can contain several such evaluations before it finishes.

Several cascades are not automatically several new paid spins. Read the total amount committed to the complete cycle and the final credited return. Our matching-pattern guide compares clusters with paylines and ways.

When does the jar move and its multiplier increase?

Push describes a jar starting at 1× and applying its multiplier to each win it contributes to. The important sequence is the multiplier used for the evaluated award, followed by the increase for later play. A newly displayed higher value is not a reason to recalculate an award already settled with the earlier value.

Virgin Games’ public original-game description says the jar gains 1 after contributing to the evaluated cluster wins and moves to a vacant adjacent position before the next collapse. Its wording describes one increase of 1 after the evaluation, even when that jar contributes to more than one cluster win in it.

A jar shown elsewhere is not enough: it must contribute to the relevant winning cluster. You do not choose its next position by pressing Spin again or predict a later result from where it has moved. The Wild-symbol explanation covers why the symbol’s particular rules matter.

What does one jar’s multiplier mean in pounds?

Assume one eligible cluster has a 20p award before multipliers and exactly one contributing jar currently shows 3×. These are invented arithmetic inputs, not a claim about the game’s actual fruit paytable, stake setting or frequency of that result.

Step in this assumed evaluationCalculation or result
Eligible cluster award before the jar£0.20
Current contributing jar value3×
Gross return for this cluster£0.20 × 3 = £0.60
Jar value after the contributing evaluation4× for a later eligible evaluation, under the stated +1 rule

The 60p belongs to this cluster. The 3× applies to the eligible cluster award, not automatically to the original spin stake. It is not a statement of profit for the whole paid cycle. Add the other settled awards, then compare the complete return with the full cycle cost.

This one-jar example does not give a formula for combining several jars. The supplier’s general multiplier article describes their combined effect without an explicit sum-or-product equation. Use the exact loaded game’s Help for that calculation; adding values or multiplying them because another slot does so can give a different answer.

How do free spins differ from an ordinary cascade?

The current supplier page says three or more jar symbols anywhere trigger Free Games. NetBet’s public description of the original says the feature begins with six free spins and holds the jars through the round, even when they do not contribute to a win. That is an attributed public description, not our observation of an account’s installed build.

Persistence within a cascade sequence, across the feature’s free spins and across separate paid spins are different questions. The public original descriptions support held jars in the feature; an ordinary new game refreshes the previous board. A useful jar from a previous paid cycle is not a promise of a head start on the next one.

In real-money play, the feature’s included spins do not require the ordinary new-spin stake each time, but the feature was reached during paid gambling. They are also different from promotional free spins awarded by a casino. The promotion’s expiry, eligibility and balance terms cannot be inferred from this game feature.

Is the Rainbow feature the same as Free Games?

No. Push describes Rainbow as a separately triggered random event that adds giant fruit. Virgin’s original-game description places the event after a non-winning cascade, excludes jars from the conversion and says it is unavailable during Free Games. Those are the stated public rules for that original description, not a rule for every Jammin’ title.

A giant fruit, a cluster award and a Free Games trigger are different events. The presence of the word random does not establish their frequency, and an animation of jars moving does not make the next feature due.

Where can a GB reader check the actual version?

NetBet publishes an exact-title Jammin’ Jars page on casino.netbet.co.uk. Its casino footer identifies Netbet Enterprises Limited, UKGC account 39170, whose remote casino activity was Active when checked on 2 November 2026. This establishes public GB operator context, not that every account can open a particular build.

Push currently lists 96.83% and 94.25% RTP configurations and says the figure can vary by casino. Check the information or loading screen of the actual game before relying on one percentage. A single headline on a review or casino listing does not establish the installed configuration.

The supplier’s international page also lists a Bonus Buy option. Its presence there does not establish GB availability. The Commission’s feature-buy removal action is explained in our bonus-buy guide; do not treat a foreign demo’s controls as the rules of a GB account.

Checked 2 November 2026: Push Gaming’s original, sequel and Giga Jar pages, its 17 October 2019 multiplier explanation, the public original descriptions at Virgin Games and NetBet, and NetBet’s linked GB operator record. These explainers do not expose every installed build’s rules.

No account, game, demo, deposit, withdrawal or support test was performed. Multi-jar combination arithmetic, retrigger rules and a version-specific maximum are not established here. The current supplier label “highest observed win” is not treated as a mathematical hard cap.

Related questions

Does every jar multiply the whole screen?

No. Push says a jar’s multiplier applies to a win the jar contributes to. A jar elsewhere on the grid does not by itself multiply every award.

Does a 3× jar mean three times my spin stake?

The example multiplies the eligible pre-multiplier cluster award, not the original stake. An assumed 20p cluster award with one contributing 3× jar returns 60p for that cluster. Whole-cycle return and profit need separate accounting.

Does the original have the sequel’s Giga Jar meter?

The Gold Vinyl and Giga Jar systems described on the Jammin’ Jars 2 page belong to that sequel. Check the exact title rather than transferring those features to the original.

Is Jammin’ Jars always 96.83% RTP?

No. Push currently lists 96.83% and 94.25% and says RTP may vary by casino. The actual game’s information identifies the configuration being offered.
