Which Buffalo Blitz rules does this answer cover?
This answer concerns Playtech’s original six-reel Buffalo Blitz with 4,096 ways. Betfred’s GB description confirms the initial free-games awards and repeated retriggers. Admiral Casino and 21.co.uk publish the separate retrigger awards; the fuller Danske Spil help explains stake units. We checked these sources on 5 November 2026.
The Danish help is evidence for the named game’s mechanics. Its euro limits, Turbo and AutoPlay controls are not instructions for a current GB casino. We have not opened a player account, tested a feature or established the build available to your account.
Look at the complete game title before comparing rules. A shared buffalo theme does not make Buffalo Blitz Cash Collect, Buffalo Blitz II, Buffalo Blitz Live or Buffalo Blitz Megaways the same game.
How many Scatters start or extend the bonus?
| Free Games Scatters on one spin | During the base game | During existing Free Games |
|---|---|---|
| 2 | Does not start this feature | Adds 5 games |
| 3 | Starts 8 games | Adds 8 games |
| 4 | Starts 15 games | Adds 15 games |
| 5 | Starts 25 games | Adds 25 games |
| 6 | Starts 100 games | Adds 100 games |
Count the Scatters appearing together on the relevant spin. Two on one paid spin followed by one on the next are not a three-Scatter trigger. The lower two-Scatter threshold applies after the Free Games feature has begun.
The initial award is not a prediction of the final feature length. The cited rules allow additional games repeatedly; they do not impose a 100-game or 200-game feature-length ceiling. That does not promise a retrigger, a profit or an unlimited monetary prize.
How does a retrigger change the remaining-spins counter?
Treat the counter as a balance of turns. If it is measured just before a free game starts, that game consumes one turn. Any new award from its result is then added. Our example below uses that convention throughout; an interface may show its counter at another point in the animation.
| Illustrative event | Counter calculation | Games left afterwards |
|---|---|---|
| Start with an eight-game award | 8 | 8 |
| First game has no retrigger | 8 − 1 | 7 |
| Next game lands two Scatters | 7 − 1 + 5 | 11 |
| Next game has no retrigger | 11 − 1 | 10 |
| Next game lands three Scatters | 10 − 1 + 8 | 17 |
After those four completed games, the example has seventeen turns left. If no more turns are added, twenty-one free games will have been played in total: the initial eight plus five plus eight. Counting a retrigger does not tell you how much any turn paid.
Keep the turn counter and money counter separate. A feature could be longer yet pay less than a shorter example. Neither the number of games left nor the appearance of a Scatter tells you the value of the next result.
Are Diamond Wild multipliers added or multiplied together?
Admiral Casino’s GB description places Wilds on reels two to six and excludes Scatters from substitution. The fuller original help identifies the Diamond and gives it no standalone payout. In Free Games, a Wild can apply a randomly selected ×2, ×3 or ×5 to a win in which it substitutes.
When qualifying Wild multipliers combine in a win, Admiral’s description says to add their values. For example, ×2 and ×3 make ×5, rather than ×6. A Diamond elsewhere on the grid does not justify multiplying an unrelated win.
| Hypothetical eligible win before its Wild adjustment | Qualifying Wild values | Calculation |
|---|---|---|
| £0.80 | ×2 and ×3 | £0.80 × (2 + 3) = £4.00 |
| £0.80 | ×3 only | £0.80 × 3 = £2.40 |
These are arithmetic examples for one eligible win, not predicted game results. A whole spin may contain several separately evaluated wins. Use the detailed game history and paytable to identify which symbols and adjustment belong to each one.
Why is a coin multiplier different from a total-stake multiplier?
The public help defines one paid round as forty times the selected coin value. If that coin value is 1p, the total round stake is 40p. A paytable figure expressed in coins must therefore be converted using the coin value before it is compared with the whole stake.
| Illustrative figure | Conversion | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Coin value: 1p | 40 × £0.01 = £0.40 | The total paid stake |
| An eligible award of 300 coins | 300 × £0.01 = £3.00 | The cash return for that stated award |
| Compare £3 with the 40p stake | £3 ÷ £0.40 = 7.5 | 7.5 times the total stake, not 300 times |
The 300-coin row is a unit-conversion example, not a claim about the game’s maximum win. Always read whether a displayed figure refers to coins, total stake, an individual combination or a completed feature. Those labels cannot be exchanged.
Do these rules establish the RTP, maximum prize or current GB stake limit?
They establish the feature model described here. They do not establish the installed RTP, a bonus-trigger probability or a universal maximum prize at every casino. For those values, read the exact game’s information panel and applicable operator rules. A simulation result, symbol award and account withdrawal limit are different measurements. Admiral’s public page explicitly warns that specific rules have changed and directs readers to the paytable. Its posted RTP or cap should therefore not be transferred to a different casino.
For GB online slots, the maximum stake per game cycle is £2 for adults aged 18–24 and £5 for adults aged 25 or over; a casino or account can set lower limits. Older or foreign screenshots showing higher stakes, AutoPlay or Turbo do not override current GB controls. The paid opening round and any linked feature must be read under the applicable game-cycle rules.
Free Games earned inside the slot are also different from promotional free spins credited by a casino. A welcome offer has its own eligibility, eligible-game and expiry terms; landing the in-game feature does not turn it into a welcome offer.
What should you check if a feature result looks wrong?
- Record the full title, supplier, round ID and time.
- Read the starting award and each retrigger separately; note whether the counter was captured before or after the spin.
- Record the total stake and coin value, then identify the relevant paytable units.
- Compare the individual Wild-adjusted wins with the feature total and any triggering-spin win.
- Ask the operator for the round history and the exact rule you believe was applied incorrectly.
Betfred publishes a GB page for the original title; that is a place to investigate, not a guarantee of current access for every account. Read our separate Betfred review for the operator, funds and payment conditions before considering registration.
Related questions
Can two Scatters trigger Buffalo Blitz free spins?
Not from the base game under the original rules used here. Two Scatters add five turns when the Free Games feature is already running.
Does a 100-spin award mean the bonus ends after 100 spins?
No. One hundred is the award for six triggering Scatters. Further retriggers can add more games; repeated additions are not a promise that they will occur.
Do Wild multipliers multiply every win on the spin?
Do not assume that. The cited help attaches the adjustment to wins involving the Wild substitution. Work from the individual winning combination.
Is this also the Buffalo Blitz Megaways bonus?
No. This answer covers original Buffalo Blitz. A different edition needs its own trigger table, feature rules and information panel.
