Who operates Sky Vegas for players in Great Britain?
The Gambling Commission listed Bonne Terre Gaming Limited’s Remote Casino activity as Active on 3 November 2026. Its separate domain list recorded both www.skyvegas.com and m.skyvegas.com as Active. These checks identify the authorised business and exact addresses; a familiar brand name alone does not do that.
The current general terms name Bonne Terre Gaming Limited for Sky Vegas, Sky Casino, Sky Bingo, Sky Poker and Sky Bet Games. Sky Bet’s sportsbook is separately assigned to SBG Sports Limited. The contract allows one account across its services, so an existing Sky Betting and Gaming account is a reason to check access rather than register a duplicate.
There is some untidy legal-name wording: deposit clause 9.12 still names Bonne Terre Limited as the bank-account holder, while the operator section names Bonne Terre Gaming Limited. The regulator’s current permission and the contract’s operator section agree on account 65519. The older company’s name should not be silently substituted for that licensee. The older Bonne Terre Limited register entry, account 38718, shows its casino permission surrendered on 31 October 2025.
The logged-out site presents slots, jackpot slots, instant-win games, live casino and Megaways categories. That supports a description of its range, rather than a checked game count or an assessment of how the games perform. We did not open game sessions.
Does Sky Vegas still accept PayPal or Google Pay?
The migration help says both PayPal and Google Pay are no longer accepted across Sky Betting and Gaming. Current help instead describes debit cards, Apple Pay, Pay by Bank and Revolut Pay. An older review or a payment-provider name in a privacy notice is not proof that it remains available in the cashier.
| Route | Published support | Deposit minimum evidence |
|---|---|---|
| Debit card | Deposits; eligible card withdrawals. | The general terms say £5 for all methods; no separate card-specific GBP figure was verified. |
| Apple Pay | Deposits and withdrawals. A withdrawal requires a card previously used for an Apple Pay deposit on the account. | A separate method-specific GBP minimum was not established. |
| Pay by Bank | Deposits and withdrawals for an eligible UK GBP bank account. | Deposit help says no minimum, conflicting with the contract’s £5 all-method minimum. We leave the comparison minimum unknown. |
| Revolut Pay | Deposits and withdrawals for UK-registered customers using GBP. | Its dedicated help explicitly states £5, with a £10,000 maximum deposit and account limits still applicable. |
| PayPal / Google Pay | Current migration help says no longer accepted. | Do not rely on a historic payment list. |
Sky says it does not charge for deposits. Its terms also exclude operator withdrawal charges for online payment services and UK debit cards; the dedicated Pay by Bank and Revolut Pay pages say those routes carry no fees. A bank’s own charges remain a separate question. Use a payment method in your own name and check any personal deposit limit before paying in.
Ordinary payment availability does not establish promotion eligibility. The deposit FAQ says deposits required by its promotional offers must use a debit card or Apple Pay. Read the particular offer’s eligibility, qualifying stake, games and expiry before accepting it; this review does not list a guaranteed live welcome offer.
How long do withdrawals take, and is the minimum £5 or £10?
The public pages give different rules. General clause 12.7 states a £10 standard withdrawal minimum, while Withdrawal Queries gives £5 for Pay by Bank and both instant and standard card payments. Revolut Pay’s dedicated page says it has no withdrawal minimum. We cannot confirm which amount an individual logged-in account will show.
There is an explicit small-balance route: clause 12.7 says a customer with a real-money balance below the standard minimum can contact Customer Care to withdraw the full balance. If, for example, £3 remains, ask for its return through that route rather than add money simply to reach a displayed minimum. Cleared funds, verification and any lawful withholding conditions still apply.
| Route or stage | Operator’s published timing | Qualification |
|---|---|---|
| General processing | Funds usually leave Sky within two hours on the same working day once a request can be actioned. | Clause 12.1 checks or an investigation can prevent it being actioned. This is not bank-arrival time. |
| Pay by Bank | Generic withdrawal help says immediately; dedicated help says allow at least 90 minutes for the first withdrawal, then subsequent withdrawals should be instant. | Eligible UK bank and GBP required. Rare delays are acknowledged; the dedicated page says contact support after 24 hours if still missing. |
| Eligible instant card withdrawal | Normally within one to four hours. | Visa and participating Mastercard routes; rare longer delays. Help says contact support if the expected instant payment remains missing after 24 hours. |
| Standard card withdrawal | Two to five working days from the request. | Bank holidays are not working days; the help asks customers to allow the full five days. |
| Revolut Pay | Usually instant. | An operator description, not a payment tested by us; account checks remain relevant. |
The useful distinction is whether a request is awaiting checks, has been sent, or is waiting at the receiving provider. Record its amount, request time, destination and reference. For a missing card payment, the help says Sky can provide an Acquirer Reference Number after five working days so the bank can trace it. Avoid judging a request solely by an instant-payment headline.
Why can Sky Vegas restrict the payment method for a withdrawal?
Sky’s net-deposit rule returns money to its original payment source before allowing extra funds to go to another registered route. Clause 12.4 calculates each method’s net deposit as deposits minus withdrawals over the previous 150 days. Once all those amounts are zero or below, extra available money can go to any registered payment method.
| Hypothetical history within that period | Deposits | Previous withdrawals | Positive amount to return |
|---|---|---|---|
| Debit card | £50 | £20 | £30 |
| Pay by Bank | £20 | £0 | £20 |
If the available real-money balance in this example is £90, returning £30 to the card and £20 to the bank clears the £50 of positive net deposits. That leaves £40 which can then be requested through a registered route, subject to the account’s checks and limits. The arithmetic describes payment routing; it does not predict winnings or require further gambling.
If a card has expired, the net-deposit help describes updating it with a direct replacement from the same bank. If the bank account has closed or changed, proof of the former card’s ownership may be needed before removal. Withdrawal help also identifies Pay by Bank as a route when a payment method cannot receive withdrawals. Ask support how the outstanding net deposit will be handled instead of selecting somebody else’s account.
The migration FAQ tells former PayPal or Google Pay customers to add a method and deposit £5 before withdrawing, with that deposit then also withdrawable. This sits alongside the contract’s full-balance support route. If you only want existing money returned, or cannot use the replacement method, request a manual balance return and an explanation of the available route before sending more money.
What checks and account restrictions matter?
The terms require verification of name, address and date of birth before depositing, withdrawing or gambling. They then describe additional full-verification requirements: clause 7.5.2 sets a £1,500 deposit ceiling during a new UK customer’s first 30 days while full verification remains outstanding, with no withdrawals until completion. An account still not fully verified after that period is restricted. This is a contractual ceiling, not a spending allowance or a promise that an account will be accepted.
Sky’s ID help describes electronic checks followed by document requests where necessary. It aims to review submitted documents within four hours, sometimes taking up to 24 hours, and states verification opening hours of 7am to 2am. Those are operator targets. Matching account details, clear documents and the correct upload format matter; a successful registration check does not rule out later payment or source-of-funds checks.
For UK address evidence, the help ordinarily asks for a utility bill or bank statement less than six months old and lists alternatives. Photo-ID uploads use JPEG, JPG or PNG; PDFs and screenshots are not accepted for photo ID, although address-proof rules differ. Use the authenticated document uploader or official support route and check what is actually outstanding.
The general contract also caps Sky Vegas winnings at £250,000 for one wager or gameplay transaction. Progressive jackpot slot, table or instant-win games, and specifically advertised game or promotion exceptions, are excluded from that general ceiling. This is a winnings rule, distinct from a payment-method withdrawal limit.
What happens to money left in the account?
Section 32 states medium customer-funds protection: funds exceeding active customer balances are held separately from operating accounts, with steps to protect them in insolvency. It expressly gives no absolute guarantee that all funds would be repaid. This arrangement concerns money held by the business, not protection against gambling losses.
For UK customers, 24 consecutive months of inactivity makes an account dormant. There is no dormant-account fee. Sky may move or reclassify the funds for internal accounting, but must first email at least 30 days’ notice explaining the balance and access route. Your rights to that money remain, subject to the contract’s withholding conditions.
After seven consecutive years of inactivity, the dormant account is deleted. The terms still provide for a balance refund if the customer later supplies evidence of those funds, unless withholding is permitted. Keep transaction records and current contact details rather than assume a closed or inaccessible account means the balance has disappeared.
You can close the account at any time. Clause 19.2 says to withdraw remaining money before closure or contact customer services to arrange its return. Unsettled bets normally stand and winnings can be requested after settlement, unless the contract permits voiding or withholding. If closure is prompted by difficulty controlling gambling, use the self-exclusion option and explain that reason to support.
What does the regulatory history show, and where can a dispute go?
The current account 65519 action page said no regulatory actions had been recorded for Bonne Terre Gaming Limited when checked. That should not erase the brand’s earlier record. On 9 March 2022 the Commission announced a £1.17 million fine against Bonne Terre Limited after a Sky Vegas promotion was emailed to self-excluded customers and people who had opted out of marketing. That was a differently named licensee, not a sanction we have reassigned to account 65519.
The regulator also published a £1 million 2018 SkyBet penalty package concerning self-exclusion failures, including duplicate accounts, marketing and balances not returned on closure, under Bonne Terre Limited. These are relevant historical group and brand circumstances; they do not establish that a particular current withdrawal is improper or that the current operator has the same enforcement record.
Raise a complaint through Sky’s official Customer Care route and retain the receipt and reference. Its complaints help describes an automated acknowledgement within 24 hours and a usual response within ten working days. Escalate internally if unresolved. For GB account disputes, the contract identifies free Independent Betting Adjudication Service (IBAS) access; the general regulator deadline for a final complaint response is eight weeks.
Keep the payment timeline, relevant terms, messages and the outcome you want. A final response or an unresolved complaint after eight weeks provides the point to consider ADR. The unpaid-casino guide explains how to assemble that record.
What this review checked
Public-document research checked on 3 November 2026: current GB operator, casino activity and exact domains; full general contract including its supplier appendices; current payment, net-deposit, verification, dormancy and complaints help; and dated regulator statements. No contract version or effective date was displayed in the checked text. The supplier appendices have mixed Sky Casino/Sky Vegas naming, so they were not treated as a separate universal description of every Sky Vegas game. We did not register an account, open a logged-in cashier, play, contact support or test payments. Published timings are the operator’s descriptions.
Related questions
Can I use PayPal at Sky Vegas?
Current migration help says PayPal and Google Pay are no longer accepted. It lists replacement routes including Pay by Bank, Revolut Pay, debit cards and Apple Pay. For returning an existing balance when a former method is unavailable, ask Customer Care to explain the manual return route before adding money.
Can I withdraw a Sky Vegas balance below £5?
General clause 12.7 allows customers below its £10 standard minimum to contact Customer Care for the full real-money balance. Revolut Pay separately publishes no withdrawal minimum. Other help pages say £5 for card and Pay by Bank requests; the pages do not state one consistent universal minimum. Verification and payment checks still apply.
Is the first Pay by Bank withdrawal instant?
The dedicated Pay by Bank help says allow at least 90 minutes for the first withdrawal, despite the generic withdrawal page saying immediately. Subsequent withdrawals should be instant according to the operator, subject to eligibility and any checks. No payment speed was tested for this review.
Does Sky Vegas charge an inactivity fee?
Its UK dormancy rules say no dormant-account fees. An account becomes dormant after 24 consecutive months of inactivity; any accounting move of the balance requires at least 30 days’ email notice and does not remove the customer’s right to the funds. After seven years, a later refund request requires evidence of the deleted account’s funds and remains subject to lawful withholding conditions.
