Who operates MrQ now?

Tek Fox Ltd is the company named in MrQ’s current GB terms and privacy notice. The Gambling Commission’s register gives it account number 60629 and lists www.mrq.com as active. The relevant casino permission is remote: that is the permission to provide the online casino service, rather than a physical venue or a software-only business.

A search for “who owns MrQ” can mean the operator, the wider business group or the person ultimately owning shares. MrQ’s cookies policy describes Tek Fox as part of the Lindar Media Limited group of companies. That group description does not turn Lindar’s old operator account into the current casino licence. We do not establish the ultimate beneficial share ownership in this guide.

Check the company, relevant activity and exact domain together. A familiar name in an advert cannot establish that its destination uses the same permission. Our licence-checking guide explains how to follow that match on the regulator’s own site.

Why do older MrQ reviews name Lindar Media?

There are two regulator records worth separating. Tek Fox’s current account has active remote casino permission from 29 September 2023. In the Lindar Media Limited record, account 51250, the domain www.mrq.com is marked inactive. The current licence-summary page for Lindar lists remote gambling software. A company can remain on the register for one activity while no longer being the operator of a particular casino domain.

On 20 September 2023, the Gambling Commission announced a £690,947 settlement with Lindar Media Limited for social responsibility and anti-money-laundering failures. Its announcement identified Lindar as the operator trading as Mr Q and running MrQ.com at that time. This is relevant brand history and should remain visible when assessing the service.

The historical case does not by itself establish that the current casino is unlicensed. Equally, finding an active licence does not erase the case. Keep the dated finding and the present permission as separate facts. We have not treated the number of actions currently displayed on one register tab as a complete history of every company connected to the brand.

How are funds held at MrQ protected?

MrQ’s terms describe a separate client-funds account and classify its insolvency arrangements as medium protection. This is an operator disclosure about money held in the gambling account. It is a different question from whether a payment has already reached your bank, and it does not make a casino balance equivalent to a personal bank deposit.

The Gambling Commission explains that medium protection involves arrangements intended to distribute customer money if a gambling business becomes insolvent. Recovery is not guaranteed. A separate account alone should not be read as a promise that every customer will receive every pound back.

Before leaving money with a casino, read its current funds disclosure and consider how much of your money would remain exposed there. A past successful withdrawal establishes what happened to that transaction; it cannot prove future solvency or resolve another customer’s balance dispute. The casino-closure guide explains the practical records to retain if an operator stops trading.

Why might MrQ ask for identity or payment documents?

The terms require name, address and age verification before a deposit and before gambling. They also describe continuing checks during the life of an account. A request made after registration can therefore concern payment ownership, source of funds or another later issue. It should not automatically be described as evidence of a fake casino.

Start by verifying the request itself. Open the known website independently, check the message through its support route and establish which document, account or transaction needs attention. Do not send documents to an address supplied only by an unsolicited advert or a social-media message. Never share a password or a one-time security code with someone claiming to settle a withdrawal.

MrQ’s privacy notice identifies Tek Fox as the data controller. Read that notice before uploading sensitive information; the fact that a company has a gambling licence does not tell you every purpose for which it processes data. Our ID-check guide explains common verification categories without promising that one document will resolve every account review.

Can you withdraw less than £10 from MrQ?

The published ordinary minimum is £10. The terms expressly direct a customer whose real-money balance is below that amount to support to withdraw the full balance. Do not treat the minimum as an instruction to deposit more or keep gambling until the figure rises.

Available real-money balanceRoute described in the termsPractical question
£7Ask support to return the full balance below the ordinary minimum.Which verified payment route will return the existing money?
£10Meets the stated ordinary minimum. Are there outstanding checks or a payment-route issue?
£29Above the stated ordinary minimum. What amount is available and what processing stage has been reached?

These examples assume an otherwise available real-money balance. They do not override a lawful account restriction, an unsettled transaction or a separately disputed sum. Ask for the reason and the applicable clause if support says that money cannot yet be released.

For example, a hypothetical cash-only account starts with a £40 deposit, deducts £18 in total stakes and credits £7 in complete game returns. With no other adjustments, £40 − £18 + £7 leaves £29. The session result is a loss of £11 compared with the £40 deposited. The £7 of game returns is already included in the £29 balance; it is not another amount to add when calculating a withdrawal.

That arithmetic explains a balance, not a real payout test. For an actual request, retain the deposit, game and withdrawal history so that support can identify any difference between the displayed balance, the amount requested and the amount sent.

Does a MrQ licence establish instant withdrawals?

A licence does not set one personal arrival time. MrQ’s terms refer customers to its method-specific help information and allow for manual review or enhanced checks. They say the payout should use the deposit method where possible and must go to the registered account holder. A funding method that cannot receive money back may need a verified alternative.

Separate the stages when asking about a delay: whether the request was accepted, whether required information is outstanding, whether the operator has authorised and sent the money, and whether the payment provider has credited it. An operator-processing target and bank receipt describe different events. A general “instant” claim cannot answer all of them.

  • Ask for the request reference and current processing stage.
  • If information is missing, establish the precise item and use the verified upload route.
  • If funds have been sent, ask for the payment reference and the stated provider timeframe.
  • If the explanation does not resolve the issue, use the formal complaint route.

Our withdrawal-delay guide explains these stages in more detail. We have not deposited at MrQ, timed a withdrawal or checked whether an account qualifies for any advertised speed guarantee.

What should you check beyond “no wagering” or a review score?

MrQ’s general terms describe promotional prizes and winnings as cash without wagering requirements, while also retaining eligibility and promotion-specific conditions. Read the actual offer applying to your account before relying on a headline. The absence of a playthrough multiplier cannot establish that an offer is available to everyone or that every balance is immediately payable through every route.

A spin’s stated stake value is also different from the cash it returns. An offer can specify a game, a deadline and a number of spins without specifying what any of those spins will pay. Our no-wagering guide explains that distinction; this review does not publish or certify a current MrQ welcome package.

For games, read the exact in-game rules and payout information. A site-wide review score cannot establish a particular slot’s configured RTP or predict your next result. If you are comparing games rather than operators, the game-rules guide is the more useful next step.

How can you escalate a MrQ complaint?

Section 18 of the current terms describes a written complaint, an intended acknowledgement within 24 hours and an internal process aimed at resolving the matter within eight weeks. It names the Independent Betting Adjudication Service, IBAS, as the independent adjudicator. Use the current verified contact route rather than replying to a supposed recovery agent.

  1. State the disputed transaction, date and amount, together with the outcome you want.
  2. Keep the complaint reference and copies of the applicable terms and account history.
  3. Ask for the written outcome or deadlock response.
  4. Check IBAS’s current eligibility and procedure if the dispute remains unresolved after the internal process or eight-week point.

The Gambling Commission’s guidance describes using the business’s complaints process first and the route to alternative dispute resolution. It does not make a regulator licence-check page a service that can access your balance or decide an individual payout. HowToCasino cannot log into an account, recover money or adjudicate the dispute.

What did this MrQ check establish?

This check is dated 1 November 2026. It matches the current operator, account, activity and domain; reads the identified terms and privacy documents; and separates the 2023 Lindar settlement from the current Tek Fox permission. It uses published information, not a customer-account test.

We did not register, deposit, claim a promotion, measure game results, contact support as a customer or withdraw money. We do not provide a paid ranking, a safety score or a sign-up offer here. Recheck the live register and the agreement applying to your account if anything differs from the dated findings.

If the purpose of your search is to stop gambling at MrQ, use the support and self-exclusion guidance rather than opening another account. Financial limits and exclusion tools serve a different task from comparing licences.

Related questions

Who owns MrQ Casino?

Tek Fox Ltd operates the current GB service and appears on UKGC account 60629. MrQ’s cookies policy describes Tek Fox as part of the Lindar Media Limited group. The current operator, group connection and ultimate beneficial share ownership are different questions; we have not established the last of these.

Is Lindar Media’s account 51250 the current MrQ casino licence?

Our 1 November 2026 check found www.mrq.com active under Tek Fox account 60629 and inactive in Lindar’s domain record. Lindar’s current summary lists gambling software. Check the relevant company, activity and domain together.

Was MrQ’s earlier operator subject to regulatory action?

Yes. The Gambling Commission announced a £690,947 settlement with Lindar Media Limited on 20 September 2023, identifying it then as the operator trading as Mr Q. Report that historical case separately from the current Tek Fox licence.

Do I need to gamble again to withdraw a £7 MrQ balance?

The terms direct customers with less than the ordinary £10 minimum to support to withdraw their full real-money balance. Ask for the return route for the existing available money rather than depositing or gambling more. Account-specific checks or disputes may still need resolving.

Are MrQ balances guaranteed if the business goes bust?

No. MrQ’s terms describe medium protection for customer funds. The Gambling Commission explains that these arrangements aim to distribute customer money in insolvency, but repayment is not guaranteed. A gambling-account balance is not protected in the same way as a personal bank deposit.

Did HowToCasino test a MrQ withdrawal?

No. We read public documents and regulator records. The worked £40 deposit, £18 stakes and £7 game-return example is hypothetical and produces a £29 balance; it is not a measured payout or evidence of a particular arrival time.
