Which What’s in Your Box version is covered?

The detailed source is Blueprint’s public Player Instructions, version 5.0, applicable from 18 January 2023. Paddy Power’s current public game page links this PADDYPOWERBETFAIR help configuration. We read it on 31 October 2026 and checked Virgin Games’ separate GB-facing description of the named title.

This establishes a specific public rules model, not the latest build available to every account. The document contains configurable jackpot material and generic controls. We do not transfer those automatically to every GB operator or treat an old help version as a fresh account test.

Deal or No Deal branding appears on several slots and a separate live casino show. Match the complete title before using the rules below. The five-reel slot does not use the live show’s qualification and wheel procedure.

How does the main slot pay?

The named rules specify five reels and 20 always-active paylines. Qualifying matching symbols must occupy consecutive reels from the far left on an active line. The paytable determines which symbol counts pay; the introduction describes combinations of two, three, four or five.

Only the highest qualifying win on each line is paid. Wins on different lines are then added. Do not add a three-symbol award and a four-symbol award on the same line if the latter is the highest result already being paid.

The help also describes scatter awards being added to line wins where applicable. The particular three-or-more-bonus-symbol trigger is more specific: it grants bonus entry with no direct cash payment merely for that trigger. Check each symbol’s clause rather than treating every scatter-style symbol as a fixed cash win.

Why do line bet and total bet give different cash amounts?

Line-win coefficients multiply the amount on one winning line. The named Go All the Way feature instead expresses its prize as a multiple of the total bet. Those bases differ by a factor of 20 when the total stake is spread equally over this 20-line model.

Illustrative entryCalculation baseCash calculation
£1 total stake spread over 20 lines£0.05 per line£1 ÷ 20 = £0.05
Hypothetical 50-times line award£0.05 line stake50 × £0.05 = £2.50
Hypothetical 20-times total-bet feature award£1 total stake20 × £1 = £20

The 50 and 20 coefficients above are invented examples, not values copied from the game’s symbol or feature paytable. They demonstrate why an unspecified “50x” claim is insufficient: you also need the correct stake base.

If the game credits £2.50 in total from an assumed £1 paid round, its net result is £1.50 profit. Do not add another £1 simply because the display calls the payment a win. Use the actual credit and full accepted cost, including any separately documented charge.

What do wilds and the Banker’s Bonus change?

Wilds substitute to form line wins but do not replace scatter or bonus symbols in this model. A wild-assisted longer combination and a shorter wild combination on the same line are assessed under the highest-win-only rule.

The Banker’s Bonus is a separate possible intervention during the game. Its box selection can award Random Wilds, Mystery Symbols, a Respin Streak or Colossal Symbols. These are not the same five routes entered through the main bonus-symbol trigger.

Banker’s interventionWhat the named rule changes
Random WildsChanges selected reel positions into wilds.
Mystery SymbolsReveals the mystery positions as the same randomly selected symbol.
Respin StreakHolds winning positions and respins the remainder; new or improved wins can continue the streak.
Colossal SymbolsAdds large symbols before the reel outcome is revealed.

A Respin Streak continues under its stated new-win condition; it is not an unlimited guarantee of increasing profit. None of these visual events establishes the probability or cash value of the next result.

How do the bonus symbols lead to five different features?

Three or more bonus symbols anywhere in view activate What’s in Your Box. The selected box determines one of five feature routes. The named instructions expressly distinguish that entry from a direct trigger-symbol payout.

Feature routeCore mechanism
Go All the WayBox choices move two cash ladders and determine which reached values are collected.
Trail of WealthA board trail collects awards and can upgrade after Banker’s Seals.
Seal of SuccessFree spins collect seal panels and convert symbols.
PowerplayRed and blue box collections control a locked-spin phase and Box 23 symbols.
Deal or No DealBox elimination and Banker offers determine the feature outcome.

The feature name matters. Reaching Seal of Success does not automatically start the Deal or No Deal studio game, and a Banker’s Bonus during the reels is not proof that the five-feature selection has been triggered.

How does Go All the Way work?

This feature displays blue and red cash ladders. Box results advance a ladder, send a ladder to its top, or reveal Take a Prize. The final selection then awards the reached blue value, the reached red value or both reached values.

The prize uses the total bet in this model. If the two displayed reached values were an invented 8x and 15x, taking both would be 23x the applicable total bet. Taking one would use only its own reached value. These figures illustrate addition, not actual ladder prices.

A ladder reaching a high value does not establish that both ladders will be paid. The final selection determines which stated collection rule applies.

How does Trail of Wealth progress?

The feature starts on its first board. Dice movement collects total-bet multipliers, Banker’s Seals and mystery awards. A phone position can lead to further Banker effects, including an award multiplier, a board circuit, a mystery prize or a possible board upgrade.

Collecting three Banker’s Seals activates the Super Trail of Wealth board. That changes the available positions; it does not mean three seals are themselves a fixed cash jackpot. The feature ends when its Mystery position reveals Collect, awarding the displayed Bonus Winnings.

A multiplier of the current feature win and a multiplier of the original total bet have different bases. Read the actual instruction attached to an event before multiplying the running amount again.

What happens in Seal of Success?

The named version begins with ten free spins and a three-seal panel above the reels. Seals can overlay symbols on reel five. Completing the panel converts its associated symbol into the DOND symbol and awards five additional spins.

Up to four symbols can be converted in this model. The rule says the feature cannot retrigger as a fresh Seal of Success bonus, while completed panels can still award their additional spins. “Cannot retrigger” therefore does not mean that the spin counter can never increase.

The free spins use the lines and bet basis of the triggering game. They are game features within a paid round, distinct from a casino’s promotional free-spin offer with separate account terms.

Why can the Powerplay spin counter stop decreasing?

Collecting three red box overlays on reel five enters Powerplay. The remaining-free-spins counter then locks while Box 23 symbols become active. A Box 23 reveals a randomly chosen mystery symbol across the Box 23 positions in view.

During that phase, collecting three blue boxes ends Powerplay. The counter resumes decreasing and Box 23 is no longer active. The locked phase explains why an individual feature spin may not reduce the displayed remaining count.

The public text does not give a reliable starting-spin count for this route, so we have not borrowed ten from Seal of Success. The actual feature screen and current help must supply the applicable count and any further limits.

What do Deal, No Deal and the feature gamble mean?

The Deal or No Deal feature uses a chosen box, remaining cash values and Banker offers. The named instructions describe a potential award up to 2,500 times total bet within this feature. That is not a verified universal maximum for the whole game, particularly where a separate jackpot system exists.

The separate Feature Gamble concerns the awarded feature route before that feature is played. It lets you accept that route or gamble towards a different one. It is distinct from accepting a Banker cash offer inside the Deal or No Deal feature; it does not mean a completed feature’s cash winnings are automatically being gambled.

The routes appear in an order based on their stated average payout, not a guarantee about the next result. The process continues until you collect the offered route, reach the top Deal or No Deal route that awards automatically, or reveal a Mystery Prize. The Mystery Prize is a cash multiple of total bet under these rules, rather than an automatic zero. We have not established a positive expected value for accepting a gamble.

Is Jackpot King part of every version?

The selected help file contains a Jackpot King Deluxe system. Its own rules tie the feature to games connected to that system and place progressive jackpot awards within Wheel King. A jackpot logo or the generic title alone does not establish that an operator has enabled the same configuration.

We have not confirmed a live pot value, a universal jackpot contribution, today’s eligibility or a maximum whole-game cash award. If a jackpot is present, check its current separate rules, stake relationship and award conditions. The progressive-jackpot guide explains why a growing amount does not predict when a player wins.

Which details must you check in a GB game?

  • The full title, help version and configuration shown in the selected game.
  • The 20-line stake allocation and each award’s calculation base.
  • The highest-win-only rule and which different awards are added.
  • The offered feature, any gamble alternative and the resulting counter changes.
  • Any enabled jackpot, current limits and the accepted round reference.

The old help also contains an Autoplay section explicitly dependent on configuration and jurisdiction. It is not evidence that autoplay is offered on a current GB slot. This guide does not provide instructions for using it.

For an interrupted feature, preserve the round reference and transaction record and ask the operator to reconcile the accepted cost and actual award. A screen animation alone does not establish the account settlement. Our game-rules guide explains the wider checks.

Related questions

Is What’s in Your Box a live casino game?

The product covered here is Blueprint’s five-reel, 20-line slot. A live Deal or No Deal casino show is a different product with different rules.

How many bonus symbols trigger What’s in Your Box?

Three or more anywhere in view trigger the feature selection in the named v5.0 rules. That trigger supplies entry rather than a direct fixed cash payment for the symbols alone.

Do all slot multipliers use the total bet?

No. This model uses the bet per winning line for line awards, while named feature awards can use total bet. Match the stated base before converting a multiplier into money.

How many free spins start Seal of Success?

The named version starts it with ten. Completing a three-seal panel adds five spins and changes an associated symbol. Do not transfer that starting count to Powerplay.

Why does Powerplay stop counting down spins?

Three red boxes activate a locked-counter phase with Box 23 symbols. Collecting three blue boxes ends that phase and resumes the counter under the cited model.

Does the title guarantee a Jackpot King award?

No. The help contains a separately configured Jackpot King Deluxe system. Its presence, current pots and eligibility need the actual operator configuration and jackpot rules.
