What should you do before refreshing a frozen slot?

Stop repeatedly pressing spin, submitting new wagers or refreshing in quick succession. Preserve what is visible before changing the browser or app. A connection problem, delayed display and disputed accepted round can look similar, but they need different evidence.

  1. Record the exact site and game title, time with time zone, error text and visible balance. Save a screenshot if possible.
  2. Find the round or transaction reference and check whether a stake was actually accepted or deducted. A button press or blank screen alone does not prove that state.
  3. Read the account/game history and note whether the round is pending, completed, reversed or absent.
  4. Check the verified site’s maintenance notice and interruption policy. If an accepted round remains unresolved, ask support to retrieve it before trying changes that could remove local evidence.

These are practical evidence-preservation steps, not a guarantee that a particular browser change will fix the game. We have not diagnosed an operator-wide incident. A search including today does not establish that all casino games are down, and this page is not a live outage feed.

If the issue is a no-prize demo, keep its virtual units separate from cash. A frozen demonstration cannot alone prove a real withdrawal or lost cash stake.

Was a wager accepted, and has the result settled?

Possible stateWhat to checkWhat the screen does not establish
Game never loaded; no accepted wager identifiedLobby error, site notice and account historyThat a cash stake was lost or a round exists
Accepted round remains pendingRound ID, stake, state and any remaining stage/choiceA completed win, loss or automatic refund
Result recorded; animation stoppedCompleted result and matching account ledgerThat stopped reels void an otherwise recorded result
Completed result; expected credit missing or wrongExact rule, total return and credit entriesWhether the issue is display, calculation or missing money

A wager can have a recorded result while the device fails to show the ending. Virgin Bet’s public help describes its frozen/disconnected spins playing out on the server with generated wins credited. bet365’s GB help describes saved game state, reconnection and history checks. These are attributed published policies, consulted on 30 October 2026, rather than tests of every game or proof that a particular click was accepted.

A multistage feature can need recovery to a recorded state instead of a newly bought spin. Ask whether the remaining action is continuation of the same accepted round. Do not purchase another round or repeat a deposit merely to see whether the previous one returns.

If the money is already correctly credited in the casino account and the issue is its later transfer to a bank or wallet, use the withdrawal guide. That is a different stage from settling the original spin.

Do GB rules require a refund after every disconnection?

No single refund rule covers every freeze. RTS 10 requires fair interruption policies that do not systematically disadvantage customers. Its guidance separates several circumstances rather than saying that every pressed spin button has the same final state.

Condition in the interruption guidanceExpected treatment described
Operator received the gamble; customer can have no further influence on its outcomeThe result should stand
Single-participant, single-stage event interrupted before an outcome was generatedAny deducted stake should be returned to the balance
Stateful game with multiple stages or decisionsAll reasonable steps should restore the last known state so it can be completed

The standard also addresses recovery capability, saved information and published policies for common interruption scenarios. It does not promise instant restoration, a fixed support deadline, both a stake refund and a win, or compensation for an imagined jackpot that was never established.

Keep the conditions attached to the answer. An accepted wager is not automatically proof that every later feature choice was already resolved; a frozen animation does not automatically erase a recorded result. The actual round records and applicable interruption policy determine which explanation fits.

A genuine disconnection, a game malfunction and an incorrect settlement are not interchangeable descriptions. Ask which occurred and how the operator applied its rules. The existence of a malfunction clause does not itself explain a particular ledger change or determine the fairness of an individual decision.

How can you check a 50p round without double-counting?

The following are separate fictional outcomes for one accepted 50p round from a £10 cash balance. Assume no bonus, fee, other wager or transaction. After the stake is deducted, the balance is £9.50. A total return includes any stake element defined by the game; it is not automatically profit.

Separate recorded caseCredit after the 50p deductionResulting cash balanceNet result against £10
Completed round returns £0£0£9.50−£0.50
Completed round returns £2 total£2.00£11.50+£1.50
Round appropriately reversed; stake restored£0.50£10.00£0
Feature still pending; £2 shown as cumulative but not final creditNot yet established£9.50 in this assumed ledgerFinal net result not established

In the £2 total-return case, the calculation is £10 − £0.50 + £2 = £11.50. Do not add the 50p stake again to obtain £12. In the reversal case, a restored stake returns the balance to £10; it does not create an additional £2 win.

A feature counter can show cumulative rather than newly credited amounts. If one view shows £1 accumulated and a later view shows £2 accumulated, do not automatically add them as £3. Check the meaning of the display and the final ledger. A screenshot of £2 during an unfinished feature does not prove a final £2 entitlement on its own.

List the accepted total stake, each actual debit/credit and the final round status. If the numbers do not reconcile, ask for that exact calculation. Our rules guide explains stake units and paytable multipliers.

How do you reconnect without losing useful evidence?

Once the record is preserved, use the verified operator’s instructions. Check the official maintenance notice, supported client version and connection. Where the published process calls for it, reopen the original game through the same verified site and inspect whether it restores the existing round. Reopening is not an instruction to place a new wager.

For a game that never loads and has no unresolved accepted wager, ordinary client checks may help identify the cause: whether other permitted pages work, whether the browser/app is supported, and whether an update or an official service issue is relevant. None proves a universal cause or a guaranteed fix.

For an unresolved accepted round, contact support before indiscriminate cache/cookie deletion, reinstalling or removing local history. Such actions may remove accessible records or preferences without resolving the server-side question. Sky’s published rules, for example, say its favourites can depend on cookies.

Keep security protections enabled and avoid unknown repair tools. Do not use a VPN, replacement account or other method to evade age, location or self-exclusion restrictions. Send account evidence only through verified support instructions; a public forum or unsolicited helper does not need your login details.

What should you ask support about a missing round or credit?

  • Exact domain/operator, provider and game title, plus version/help information if available.
  • Time and time zone, round ID, accepted total stake and whether a bonus was active.
  • Visible error and recorded state: no acceptance identified, pending, completed or reversed.
  • The result and cash ledger, including what was actually credited and what remains unexplained.
  • The applicable interruption policy, any recovery action and the support reference.

Ask the operator to retrieve the specified round and explain acceptance, result generation, any remaining stages and settlement. You may not receive every internal security log, but a generic instruction to refresh does not explain an identified missing credit. Keep the response and ask which entry or clause accounts for the amount.

If the financial discrepancy remains unresolved, use the complaint procedure in the unpaid-winnings guide. If the concern is broader evidence of game fairness, the slots-fairness guide explains what a result history can and cannot establish. Neither a frozen screen nor an unlucky sequence is enough on its own to prove a rigged game.

A useful resolution identifies the actual round state and reconciles its money movement. Do not replay the incident with another paid spin as a substitute for those records.

Related questions

Does a frozen slot automatically refund the stake?

No. GB guidance distinguishes a result that should stand, a deducted stake in a specified single-stage pre-outcome case, and recovery of a game with remaining stages. The round state and applicable rules matter.

Can the slot settle while the animation is frozen?

Yes, that is possible under published operator policies. Check the completed round and account history. A stopped animation does not establish that a particular wager was accepted or that its displayed result was final.

Should I press spin again to recover a disconnected round?

Do not buy another round to test recovery. Preserve the records, check history and follow the verified operator’s instructions for restoring the existing state or obtaining support.

Does a £2 feature counter prove £2 is withdrawable?

Not by itself. It can be a cumulative or pending display. Identify whether the round completed and how the amount was credited. A total return and net profit also differ.

Are all casino games down today if one title will not load?

That is not established by one failed load. Check the exact error, verified maintenance notice and account history. This guide is not a live operator-outage report and does not diagnose every casino or product.

What if the round completed but the money is still missing?

Record the round ID, stake, result and ledger, then ask the operator for the exact settlement calculation. If the financial discrepancy remains unresolved, follow its complaint procedure and the appropriate independent dispute route.
