Which rules model is explained here?

This page explains Playtech’s themed live roulette product. Betfred’s public GB help supports the main flow, inside-bet qualification and lifelines. For the detailed calculations we use bet365’s publicly accessible English rules PDF, whose file metadata dates from 10 December 2021. We read it on 31 October 2026.

The PDF supplies a detailed named model; it does not establish the latest GB account configuration. Some later sector examples conflict with its main payout table, and one bonus-range endpoint is inconsistent with its own formula. We identify the relevant main table and show the arithmetic rather than silently combining conflicting figures.

Relax Gaming also lists a similarly named roulette product from Electric Elephant. It is a separate supplier product; do not apply its advertised features to this Playtech live table. The Millionaire Megaways and Millionaire Slingo games are different again. Our roulette basics explain the underlying wheel and layout.

What happens during a round?

  1. Players submit their wagers before betting closes.
  2. The game reveals randomly designated Millionaire Numbers and their feature icons. The PDF describes one to five numbers, or occasionally ten.
  3. The ball settles in a pocket on a real 37-pocket single-zero wheel.
  4. If that pocket is a Millionaire Number, qualifying inside bets on it receive the corresponding feature settlement.
  5. Other bets settle under their applicable rules; if the number is not a Millionaire Number, the main-game payout table applies.

A number being designated does not mean the ball must land there. The public model reveals the designations after betting, so it does not offer a chance to add a qualifying chip after seeing which feature numbers were selected.

The ordinary wheel result and the feature-selection process are different events. A list of previously selected numbers does not reveal the next ball result or guarantee that a particular number will receive a multiplier.

What do the Millionaire Number icons mean?

Icon in the named PDFDescribed resultRelevant limit
Bronze Millionaire logoAn eight-level Millionaire Round. The displayed choices and awarded multiplier determine settlement.
Gold Millionaire logoA ten-level Millionaire Round. The longer ladder does not guarantee reaching its top.
100xThe qualifying eligible bet receives the fixed multiplier. It does not multiply the whole table layout.
Question markA choice between a fixed 50x or 100x and a ladder with a stated 150x or 300x potential.Read the actual offered choice; the PDF preselects the ladder.

The PDF describes a feature ceiling of 2,000x for the product. That is not a £2,000 prize, a normal result or a multiplier for every accepted chip. The current table’s full limits and feature rules must be checked separately.

Which bets qualify for the bonus?

The accepted inside wager must cover the actual winning Millionaire Number. A chip on a different designated number does not qualify merely because that other number also had an icon. Red/black, odd/even, high/low, dozens and columns do not become bonus wagers.

Winning inside positionNumbers coveredShare used in the eligible bet
Straight-up1The whole chip amount
Split2Half the chip amount
Street3One third
Corner / basket4One quarter
Six-line6One sixth

Divide each qualifying chip by the number of pockets covered by that position, then add the resulting shares. Exclude chips that do not cover the winning number. The eligible bet is an accounting base for the feature, not an extra amount you must stake after the wheel result.

A racetrack selection can place several separate chips. Work from the actual accepted positions and their coverage rather than treating the total racetrack purchase as a single straight-up stake. Our inside and outside bets guide explains that layout distinction.

How does the eligible-bet calculation work?

Assume this invented accepted layout: £2 straight-up on 34; £2 split on 34/35; £2 corner on 31/32/34/35; £1 straight-up on 17; and £3 on black. Total cost is £10. Suppose 34 wins as a Millionaire Number and the final feature multiplier is 100x.

Accepted betCash stakedEligible share for winning 34Return at stipulated 100x
Straight-up 34£2.00£2.00£200.00
Split 34/35£2.00£1.00£100.00
Corner 31/32/34/35£2.00£0.50£50.00
Straight-up 17£1.00£0.00£0.00
Black; 34 is red£3.00£0.00£0.00

The eligible bet is £2 + £1 + £0.50 = £3.50. The feature returns £3.50 × 100 = £350. Subtract the full £10 round cost to obtain £340 net profit. Multiplying £10 by 100 would wrongly include non-qualifying and losing money.

This follows the PDF’s feature formula and profit-odds convention: the multiplier produces the credited return for the qualifying bet. The qualifying inside bets receive the Millionaire settlement instead of an additional ordinary inside payout. Do not add the ordinary £105 return, or another £6 of winning inside stakes, after the £350 calculation. The example assumes no separate charge, cap or rounding adjustment; check the selected table for those details.

What if the winning number has no Millionaire icon?

Use the named PDF’s main-game Winnings table, headed as applying to the main game. Its reduced inside profit odds differ from conventional European roulette. A 37-pocket wheel does not, on its own, establish a 35:1 straight-up payment.

Main-game bet in this PDFProfit oddsTotal return on a £2 winning chip
Straight-up29:1£60
Split14:1£30
Street9:1£20
Corner / basket6.5:1£15
Six-line4:1£10
Dozen / column2:1£6
Red/black and other even-money outside positions1:1£4

For the same invented £10 layout, if 34 wins without a Millionaire feature, the three winning inside chips return £60 + £30 + £15 = £105. The £1 chip on 17 and £3 on black lose. The round’s net result is £105 − £10 = £95 profit.

The later generic sector examples in the same document include inconsistent conventional figures. We have not used those to replace the explicitly labelled main-game table. The currently selected game help must resolve any difference in a real account.

How does the Millionaire Round progress?

The bonus presents levels with four lettered options. Under the PDF, you choose a letter during the decision window and receive its revealed multiplier. If you do not choose in time, the game makes a random selection. The display tracks the accumulated award as the round progresses.

Revealing X ends your participation in the ladder without adding a multiplier for that level. The PDF says you receive the multipliers accumulated before that point. This is different from assuming that every failed choice wipes out everything from the bonus.

The letter choices do not turn roulette into a general-knowledge quiz. The television branding supplies the presentation; the game’s rules and generated values supply the gambling result. We have not calculated an optimal choice system or an expected return for the ladder.

What do 50:50, Ask the Audience and Ask the Host do?

LifelineNamed public ruleWhat it does not establish
50:50Removes the two smallest multipliers at that stage.A guaranteed top overall award.
Ask the AudienceShows a voting-style chart and selects the highest multiplier; the PDF says the information comes from the game server.Advice from a real voting audience.
Ask the HostThe host activates removal of lower options under server-supplied information. The host independently knows or chooses your future result.

The PDF describes lifelines as automatically triggered and limits their appearances within the Millionaire Round. Do not assume you have a freely reusable lifeline button at every level. The actual prompt determines which effect is active and which choices remain.

Why might you see choices without receiving a bonus payout?

The PDF includes a Play Along Watcher Mode for someone who did not qualify, joined after the bonus began, or selected the fixed alternative in a question-mark round. You can interact with the displayed choices in this mode, but those watcher selections do not create a new cash wager or multiplier award.

If you selected a fixed 50x or 100x, seeing later ladder choices does not mean your settled choice has been upgraded. Distinguish the multiplier already selected from the non-paying watcher interaction. A visible bonus screen alone is not evidence that every viewer owns a qualifying bet.

Can the published top multiplier tell you the RTP?

No. A maximum multiplier and a main-game payout table are insufficient to derive the complete return of this mixed game. You would also need the probabilities of designations, feature types, ladder awards and any relevant choices or configuration. We have not substituted a conventional roulette house edge for that missing model.

Likewise, one to five or ten designated numbers does not give the probability of receiving the top award. The ball must land on a qualifying designated number, an accepted wager must cover it, and the relevant feature must then produce that award.

Check the current help for minimum and maximum position stakes, any total-table limit, settlement rounding, maximum payment and connection handling. The PDF’s limits are positional and sometimes aggregate; it does not supply one universal sterling minimum for every table.

What should you record if a settlement looks wrong?

  • The complete game title, operator, table and round reference.
  • The actual accepted chips, their coverage and the total round debit.
  • The winning number and its revealed feature icon.
  • The eligible-bet breakdown and final awarded multiplier.
  • Any separately settled outside wagers and the actual balance credit.

Compare the record with the selected game’s help before applying the worked example. A differently configured table needs its own model. Our game-rules guide explains how to keep a quoted multiplier, returned stake and whole-round net result separate.

Related questions

Do red or black bets qualify for the Millionaire bonus?

No, under the named public rules. The Millionaire feature uses inside wagers covering the winning designated number. An outside wager still settles under its own rules.

Is a 100x multiplier applied to my whole round stake?

No. Divide each qualifying inside chip by its number of covered pockets and add the shares. In the worked example a £10 total layout has a £3.50 eligible bet, returning £350 at a stipulated 100x.

Does Millionaire Roulette pay 35:1 on an ordinary straight-up win?

The detailed bet365 public PDF used here specifies 29:1 profit odds in its main-game table. Check the exact current help; a single-zero wheel does not guarantee conventional payout odds.

Is the Millionaire Round a knowledge quiz?

The named rules describe lettered multiplier choices, timed decisions and generated lifeline effects. They do not require answering television-style general-knowledge questions.

Does Ask the Audience use real audience votes?

The PDF says the voting-style information comes from the game server, with the highest-multiplier answer selected. It does not describe a real audience poll.

Can I interact with the bonus without a qualifying cash bet?

The named PDF describes a watcher mode. Its selections do not create a cash wager or bonus award; someone who selected a fixed multiplier may also see the later ladder in this mode.
