Which Mega Joker does this guide explain?
This guide covers NetEnt’s three-reel game with five fixed paylines and two reel areas. It does not cover another supplier’s similarly named slot, a Joker wild in a different game, or the Mega Joker name used for unrelated products.
The detailed model below follows published game rules hosted on EveryMatrix’s distributor CDN, cross-checked against NetEnt and Evolution descriptions. Those rules are in Romanian and have no printed revision date. A separately identified NetEnt game sheet dated 31 May 2019 supplies historical paytable context. These documents explain the mechanics; they do not verify a current GB casino installation or its enabled stakes.
If the interface only shows one reel set or a different feature, identify the complete title and supplier before using these instructions. Our guide to reading game rules explains where to check the rulebook, denomination and payout table.
What should you check before a first round?
- Identify the lower Basic reels and upper Supermeter reels. The highlighted area shows which mode you are using.
- Read the cash value of one coin and the number of coins charged for the next spin.
- Check the paytable associated with the active mode and wager. A prize on the upper panel is not automatically a Basic-game prize.
- Locate Collect before considering another Supermeter wager. This is how remaining meter credit is moved back to the ordinary balance.
- Review the game’s current rules and any account limits. A historical euro stake range does not establish a permitted sterling stake.
The account balance, meter balance, stake and last win answer different questions. The meter tells you what value is available inside Supermeter. The stake tells you what the next spin will risk. The win display describes a result already awarded; it is not a promise about the next spin.
How much does a Mega Joker spin cost?
The published model uses a 10-coin Basic wager that cannot be increased with the coin-count control. Changing the denomination still changes its cash cost. Supermeter has 20, 40, 100 and 200-coin choices. These are total coin stakes for the respective spin, with all five paylines active. They are not five separate charges to multiply by five again.
Cash stake equals the coin stake multiplied by the selected cash value of one coin. A coin is a unit of account, not a synonym for one pound. Our denominations guide explains this distinction across slot games.
| Wager shown in coins | Relative to a 10-coin Basic wager | Meaning at unchanged coin value |
|---|---|---|
| 20 | 2 times | Twice as much value is exposed on that spin. |
| 40 | 4 times | Four times the Basic wager. |
| 100 | 10 times | Ten times the Basic wager. |
| 200 | 20 times | Twenty times the Basic wager. |
This comparison describes cost, not the probability of profit. A larger wager can activate a different prize row while also using the available meter much faster. Compare the money at risk with the award conditions, rather than reading only the largest printed prize.
What happens when the Basic game wins?
Ordinary winning combinations are evaluated against the lower paytable. In the documented 10-coin model, three treasure chests on a payline award 2,000 coins; three Jokers on a payline award a mystery amount of 20–400 coins. The historical game-sheet picture also shows a 200-coin three-bell result.
The published rules add simultaneous wins on different paylines in both modes. All five lines are active, but a matching-looking symbol group still needs to satisfy a paytable combination on a winning line.
A Basic win below 2,000 coins can fund Supermeter. You may collect the available winnings instead. The upper display can therefore become active after a paid lower-reel result without awarding an extra bundle of free spins.
The source’s entry condition matters: a qualifying smaller win and a 2,000-coin top result should not be treated as identical routes. Read a displayed award through the selected coin value before deciding how much value it represents.
How does the Supermeter credit balance change?
Supermeter wagers are deducted from the meter, and awards increase it. Moving a Basic win into that meter does not create a second copy of the winnings. Your combined game value is the ordinary balance plus any remaining meter credit.
The following hypothetical ledger starts with 1,000 coins. A 10-coin Basic spin awards 200 coins, followed by three selected Supermeter results. The 100-coin award at the 20-coin level is a regular-symbol example from the historical paytable. No jackpot or other award is included.
| Stage | Ordinary balance | Supermeter | Combined value |
|---|---|---|---|
| Start | 1,000 coins | 0 | 1,000 coins |
| Basic stake 10; award 200 | 990 coins | 200 coins | 1,190 coins |
| Supermeter stake 20; award 0 | 990 coins | 180 coins | 1,170 coins |
| Supermeter stake 40; award 0 | 990 coins | 140 coins | 1,130 coins |
| Supermeter stake 20; award 100 | 990 coins | 220 coins | 1,210 coins |
| Collect remaining 220 | 1,210 coins | 0 | 1,210 coins |
The final change is a 210-coin gain: total awards of 300 coins minus total stakes of 90 coins. Collect moves 220 coins between displays; it does not add another 220 coins to the combined total. Neither the sequence nor the awards are forecasts.
If the same 200-coin meter instead funded ten losing 20-coin spins, it would reach zero. A previous Basic win remains money exposed to loss while it is used for upper-game wagers.
Does Collect withdraw money from the casino?
Collect returns available Supermeter credit to the Basic balance. It does not submit a bank withdrawal, satisfy promotional conditions or establish that all money is withdrawable under an account’s terms. Those are separate account processes.
The published model also automatically collects when the Supermeter reaches 2,000 coins and returns to Basic play. That is a rule for ending this meter session, not an instruction to keep wagering until the threshold appears.
Check the displayed remaining credit after the last completed result. A balance available to collect can be larger or smaller than the Basic win that originally funded it. If a round is interrupted, use its recorded status and the operator’s support process rather than assuming a second spin will restore it.
Are Joker mystery wins the progressive jackpot?
They are separate awards. NetEnt gives an example in which a 100-coin Supermeter wager and a Joker on the middle reel can award 100–2,000 coins. Its progressive jackpot is described separately as a random award that grows as Basic rounds are played.
The full published help says the jackpot cannot be won in Supermeter. A mystery Joker result on the upper reels must therefore not be described as the progressive jackpot trigger for this model.
A Joker range is not a fixed payout for every result. Use the highlighted rules for the selected wager, and do not combine an ordinary symbol prize, a Joker mystery amount and a jackpot unless the exact rules say the awards can coincide. A larger top-reel wager does not establish jackpot eligibility.
Does a 2,000-coin award mean 2,000 times your bet?
No. Divide an award by the stake in the same units before calling it a stake multiple. A 2,000-coin award on a 100-coin wager equals 20 times that wager. The same printed coin award would equal 50 times a 40-coin wager. These are unit comparisons, not claims that every outcome is possible at both levels.
| Hypothetical conversion | Calculation | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Cash stake at a 1p coin value | 100 coins×£0.01 | £1 |
| Cash award at that denomination | 2,000 coins×£0.01 | £20 |
| Award divided by that stake | £20÷£1 | 20× |
| Change attributable to that spin | £20 award − £1 stake | £19 |
The 1p denomination is chosen solely to demonstrate conversion; this guide has not verified that any current installation offers it. A quoted 200× supplier maximum and a 2,000-coin Supermeter figure use different bases. Neither should be silently relabelled as a 2,000× total-stake maximum.
Is Mega Joker always a 99% RTP slot?
Evolution lists 85.28% and 99.00% for Mega Joker. The detailed rules explain that the theoretical return depends on the skill-related choice of Supermeter wager and when to collect. A single 99% headline does not describe every possible way of playing.
The published decision table is balance-dependent. It does not simply prescribe the 200-coin wager at every balance. “Always bet maximum” is therefore an inadequate explanation of the documented return model. This guide does not reproduce a historical strategy as a current GB betting recommendation.
RTP is a theoretical relationship between total wagers and returns under specified assumptions. It is not an amount owed to a person, a session target or evidence that losses will be recovered. Understanding the controls can prevent a cost misunderstanding while leaving future results uncertain.
What needs a separate check for play in Great Britain?
GB online-slot limits are £2 per game cycle for adults aged 18–24 and £5 for those aged 25 or over. These apply to the cash amount at risk under the game-cycle rules. A foreign or historical 200-coin button does not by itself establish a currently permitted GB option.
A casino’s current configuration, denomination, mode availability and rules need checking together. This guide has not tested how a particular GB installation implements the two-mode cycle. Do not infer that moving value into another meter bypasses a limit, or that a supplier licence proves this exact version is available to an account.
For a practical next step, identify the exact game and read its current help before staking. If the value at risk is unclear, leave the wager unplaced. Our slot-stakes guide explains how to compare total cost with a personal limit.
Related questions
Is Mega Joker Supermeter a free-spins round?
No. It uses winnings transferred from Basic play to fund further wagers. The meter can fall to zero if those wagers lose.
Why is the upper paytable highlighted?
It identifies the prize table associated with the active Supermeter wager. Read it with the selected coin amount and denomination; the upper prize row should not be applied to a lower-game result.
Can I collect less than the original Basic win?
Yes. If a 200-coin win funds a 20-coin wager that loses, 180 coins remain. Collecting that balance moves 180 coins back; the 20 coins used on the losing wager are not restored.
Does Collect cash out to my bank?
No. It moves available credit out of Supermeter into the Basic balance. A casino withdrawal is a separate account request.
Can the progressive jackpot be won in Supermeter?
The detailed published model says no. It separates Basic-game jackpot eligibility from the upper-game Joker mystery awards.
Does a higher Supermeter stake guarantee the 99% return?
No. The detailed rules make the return dependent on the balance-related stake and collect choices. The theoretical figure cannot guarantee a personal result or establish the configuration of a current GB game.
